We Are A Factory Authorized Carrier Dealer

We are a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer.

The Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer initiative is a rigorous, standards-based national endorsement. Less than five percent of heating and cooling professionals in the country receive this distinction - making Gorman Mechanical the heating and cooling expert to turn to.

Designing the perfect comfort system depends on a combination of several factors. As a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer, we are uniquely qualified to design, install and service the right heat and air system for your home. We do this via four primary types of residential heating and air conditioning systems - split systems, hybrid heat split systems, duct free split systems and packaged systems.

Split Systems

The most common residential heating and cooling system is a split system. This type of system utilizes a unit inside and another outside your home. An innovative Carrier split system includes:

residential HVAC equipment - split systems
  • An Air Conditioner - which cools refrigerant
  • A Furnace and Evaporator Coil, or Fan Coil - which converts refrigerant and circulates air
  • Ducts - to carry air throughout your home
  • A Control or Thermostat - allowing you to control your system
  • Optional Air Quality Accessories - to clean the air that is circulated through your home

Hybrid Heat Split Systems

A hybrid heat split system is a more energy-efficient variation of the traditional split system. By including a heat pump, the system uses electricity to heat and cool, but adds the option of gas furnace heat. A Carrier hybrid heat split system includes:

residential HVAC equipment - hybrid systems
  • A Heat Pump - which cools or heats refrigerant
  • A Furnace and Evaporator Coil - which converts refrigerant and circulates air
  • Ducts - to carry air throughout your home
  • Control or Thermostat - allowing you to control your system
  • Optional Air Quality Accessories - to clean the air that is circulated through your home

Duct-Free Split Systems

A duct-free system can be installed in places where conventional ducted systems can't be used - or they can even complement a ducted system. Carrier duct-free systems offer a combination of:

residential HVAC equipment - duct free
  • An Air Conditioner or Heat Pump - which cools or heats refrigerant
  • A Compact Fan Coil - which converts refrigerant and circulates air
  • Refrigerant Tubing and Wires - to connect the outdoor unit to the fan coil
  • Control or Thermostat - allowing you to control your system
  • Optional Air Quality Accessories - to clean the air that is circulated through your home

Packaged Systems

If your home doesn't have space for the multiple units used in a split system, consider a packaged solution. From one-room units to entire home systems in a single package, Gorman Mechanical offers the right solution for your limited space. Features of a Carrier packaged system include:

  • A Packaged Unit - combining a heat pump or air conditioner with a fan or evaporator coil
  • Control or Thermostat - allowing you to control your system
  • Optional Air Quality Accessories - to clean the air that is circulated through your home
  • Alternative Installation Points - allowing installation on a rooftop or in the yard
