I keep seeing the term "HVAC." What does HVAC mean?

HVAC stands for "Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning." You may also see the abbr HVACR which stands for "Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration." Gorman Mechanical is a Texas-licensed HVACR contractor.

What kinds of HVAC systems do you offer?

How much will a new HVAC system cost?

The cost of a heating and air conditioning system varies greatly depending on brand, size, features and a number of other factors. We offer a variety of HVAC systems scaled to meet varying budgets and needs. To get an accurate cost estimate, you will want to schedule a complimentary appointment with one of our comfort consultants.

Do you offer financing?

Gorman Mechanical, Inc. is a financially solid small business. This allows us to offer a variety of financing options and incentives that are budget-friendly. Visit our In-House Offering area for more information.

What kind of warranties do you offer?

We stand behind our work and only install quality parts and equipment. For service and repairs, our in-house warranty covers parts and labor for a full year.

Warranties for new equipment vary by manufacturer. Be sure to discuss warranty features with your comfort consultant when choosing a new system.

What is the life expectancy of an air conditioning and heating system?

We offer dependable products that are among the longest lasting HVAC systems available. With regular maintenance our best systems can last as long as 15 to 20 years.

For existing equipment, there are many variables that affect life expectancy, dependability and efficiency. Contact us for a free consultation, and a Gorman professional will assist you in determining the remaining life span of your heating and air conditioning unit.

My HVAC system was installed by another contractor, can you service it?

Yes. We are able to service any HVACR system and have relationships in place with a number of HVAC manufacturers.

If you have an extended labor warranty on your existing system, it is covered by the manufacturer, not the installing contractor. This means you may use the contractor of your choice to service your equipment.

What kind of maintenance plans do you offer?

Are you licensed and insured?

Gorman Mechanical, Inc. is fully insured and licensed to serve as an HVACR contractor throughout the state of Texas. Our license number is TACLB24808C and can be verified with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
